Hidden cameras are cameras that are precisely hidden still or motion cameras that capture the subject without the subject’s awareness or knowledge. It is done to document objectively any situation, personality, event or scene. The main advantages of hidden cameras are that it aims to tell the truth as against a rehearsed camera movement. People who view Hidden Camera footages or images tend to believe it as true. It increases the credential of the footage or image in their minds and also rate high in terms of truth, transparency and objectivity. However there is a certain section which debates the validity of such hidden camera set ups. They argue that it goes against one’s privacy and also intrudes irrationally. Nevertheless, it is considered matter of high value. Political, economical and legal scandals are also opened up mostly with the help of hidden cameras. These cameras are very portable and are also of high quality. Despite its size and placement, it still captures motion in the best picture quality. These cameras are most often slid in to a place from where it is hardly noticeable and that the person being shot is completely unaware of the hidden camera set up. Nowadays hidden cameras have become more common.
